Good Game.
Fun game, great mechanic and art style.
Good game for your first project.
The sounds are okay; I found the walking sound to be a little satisfying, the sound when you "jump" through a wall was pretty nice as well. I feel that the lack of music adds to the experience. It really makes you feel like you're in a void.
The sprites are really good for a beginner, I really liked the art style gives me dead space vibes with the 'cold' dark areas. Giving the player contrasting colours from the environment was ingenious. making the player look like the sun elicits the idea of a darker narrative..
The level design is good for a beginner, the pipes give the game life the overall game was a bit short but fun. The timer (activated in the settings) added replayability making me want to beat my best time and possibly other peoples (02.09.67)
the controls are pretty unique, with you having to use you mouse to control the "head" of Philip, and the normal W A S D to walk. although, it did confuse me at first whenever I jumped through a wall and had my controls flipped (w left d jump s right) but it was clever and a unique twist.
Overall, good game. 2/10 :)
